Winter Watering
With all of the snow we have reicieved this winter, you might be thinking that there is no need to winter water your trees and shrubs. This can be a big mistake. Most of the snow that covers the ground actually evaporates back into the air thanks to our extremely dry climate. Make sure you winter water (especially the evergreens) at least once a month when no snow is covering the area surrounding the plant. This will keep your plants from getting stressed and will help give them a head start in the spring.
